Sometimes you get yourself in deeper than you expected. Most of the time when I do that it’s just me that has to pay for it. Ya know if I start ridin’ a little faster or more aggressive than I should, then if something unexpected happens I’m the one who has to pay. Most of the time. It’s when I pull someone else into the mix that I really regret what I’ve done. And if that someone is one of the people I care about it’s doubly bad. Then I have to spend a lot of time trying to get out of the dog house. You’d think as old as I am I’d have learned by now not to put myself in those situations. Ya, you’d think.
