Anybody like doing track days? Come on, where’s the challenge? Riding around in a controlled environment, everybody going the same direction, no curbs, no road furniture, no idiots in cages to give the finger to, no cops to out run. Where’s the real challenge? Some guys say it’s a good environment to work on your riding skills. I say bull. Want to ride better? Get some friends together and find an empty parking lot. Set up a figure eight course, get you buddies to bring their pick ups and hook up a few trailers. You’re the only one on your bike. Make sure you put some loose crap on the trailers and in the pick up beds, tail gates down. Circulate the figure eight corse trying to avoid the trucks, trailers and the crap falling off of them. Oh yeah, give all your buds a case of beer and as they finish each bottle let them lob them out the window at you. I think you’ll notice a marked improvement in your riding skills after a session of this.
