This is a color sketch I did of Big O & Betty with pens and markers.  You can see I had developed Big O more from the first sketch.  I use sketches like this to develop not only the look of the characters but also work the personality in.  I still use this sketch as reference when I’m drawing them for a strip.

 Below are  sketches of Big O and Stonee.  These were probably the first sketches I did in the development of  characters for Motobasturds.  Big O wasn’t quite developed as a character I was happy with but Stonee was good from the start. To see the larger versioclick on the thumbnail.
