Riding in the winter can be a challenge. The biggest challenge is trying to stay warm. The best way to stay warm is to get some gear to keep you warm. The right gear can make the difference between enjoying a winter ride or being miserable. Make sure you get some good gear. Like earmuffs.

If you’re like me you’ve eaten a ton of good food over the last couple of months. And by good I don’t mean good for you. I mean it sure tasted good when you stuffed it in your pie hole. And come on, if you’re like most of us that’s what it’s there for. “Hey, what another piece of stuffed pork chop?” “Sure, I’ve had four but what the heck, it’s the holidays and you only live once.” 

Don’t you just love this time of the year, decorating the tree, hanging lights, it’s all just so much fun. Merry Christmas everyone! Oh, and make sure you stay hydrated, not getting enough to drink is the number one cause of sickness this time of year.

Why do we make resolutions on New Years? Why not on the Forth of July, or better yet on our birthday. That would seem a more appropriate day, a year older, time to make some changes. I’ve never been a resolution type of guy, if ya want to change something about yourself maybe today is a good day. Maybe you like yourself just the way you are, to hell with all the self improvement crap. Maybe all you’re missing in your life is a crap house monkey and a fishing pole. 

Some of use aren’t ready yet, might be a little off plumb still. Could be we’re still trying to get past a episode that’s still got us tied in knots. Or nots. Still a few parts on back order maybe. We’ll get there, you don’t have to wait on us. Not unless you’re done with yourself and you’ve got a lot of time and patience.

Gotta luv those gals with the Big Doo’s. Lotta hair to care for there. I saw a lady with a doo so big on TV the other day I think the doo was the co-star. One of those preacher chics, I guess God loves the girls with the big hair. Oh, and makeup, lots of makeup. Lots and lots and lots of make up. Makes ya wonder, why they need so much help, didn’t the Lord do a good job on the original. 

Motorbikes are a visual and aural experience. Yeah, I know it’s more than just that but ya gotta admit, looks and sound are a big part of the package. For some bikers bigger is just better. Big tires, big bikes, big motors and a big sound. But I gotta say, sometimes too big is just too big. 

There’s no replacement for displacement.” And like everything it can be carried to an extreme. That’s what make bikes so much fun. Nobody can tell you what you can and cannot do with your ride. Big motors, big tires, big boys. If there’s a way to make it bigger, we’ll do it. Stand back and hand me that cutting torch.
